Have you seen it at your LSS? Have you picked it up at Barnes & Noble or Michael’s? Did you happen to notice it calling to you as you finished up your grocery shopping? Well honeys, I’ve seen it and I’m proud to say that this, my friends, is the best issue of Stamp It! Cards yet! I mean seriously, I’d buy it for the cover alone, without even considering the moxie fab fact that there are 155 inspiring projects , step-outs on how to do 4 hot stamping techniques , 6 trendy stamp sets used in 3 different ways , and page after page after page of stampy goodness! I am so inspired, I wanted to share 5 trendy projects from this awesome issue with you for our Five for Friday. You might recognize this colorful card by Kim Kesti , as not only is it on the cover, but it’s where the cover began. The trendy stamped houses, the clouds atop the gingham background, and the sweet sentiment made all our hearts turn cartwheels: New Home Card, p. 41 The sunshiney happiness in this card by Maren Benedict just makes me grin from ear to ear: Sunshine Thank You Card, p. 75 This card is extremely trendy with the deer, the butterflies, the color scheme, the receipt-grid-paper background, and the punny sentiment (love the fonts!): Thanks Deery Card by Angie Hagist , p. 77 While this punny card by Julie Ebersole pairs a familiar, trendy icon with an uplifting sentiment. (I heard that, you just let out a little chuckle didn’t you?) Besides being stinkin’ cute, I love the clean lines of this card with all my heart: Roll With It Card, p. 46 And last but certainly not least, this darling card by Laura O’Donnell is both reminiscent of the TV series, but also uses these cute, trendy, and hilarious owls as the focal point: Friends Card, p. 53 Have I whet your whistle at all? ‘Cause not only did I want to show you these moxie fab projects from Stamp It! Cards , but I also wanted to announce Stamp It! Week here in the Moxie Fab World and on the Paper Crafts blog starting on Monday of next week . That’s right, every day next week on both blogs there will be amazing giveaways, designer spotlights, and a general celebration of all things stamping! You won’t want to miss out on the fun! But wait! There’s more! Since we finished one challenge yesterday , it’s on to the next! The Stamp It! Week Challenge begins today in honor of Paper Crafts’ annual Stamping Royalty Contest . Every year we crown the best stampers and show off their projects in our November/December issue. Last year’s competition was one of the strongest yet, and we’re hoping that this year tops them all. To get you revved up, we’re holding a dual blog challenge ! Woot! Here’s the biz: Create a stamped card using one of these five techniques (four of which are highlighted in Stamp It! Cards ): Stamp Kissing Build a Scene Creating Patterned Paper with Stamps Adding Color with Markers Adding Color with Dye Ink Sprays Upload your project to the Stamp It! Week Challenge Group by midnight MST on Monday, March 23 by clicking here and by following these exact instructions. List the name of your technique as the title of your card. The Paper Crafts team will select 2 winning cards in each category and will feature them on either the Paper Crafts Connection blog or here on the Moxie Fab World blog on Thursday, March 26.
